PROFILE
Tim Hoeft has studied architecture and the built environment
across the globe. While enrolled in a UF - School of
Architecture study abroad program, Tim lived in Vicenza,
Italy, and traveled extensively throughout the European
continent. In the summer of 2005, he participated in a
similar program in the rural Tequila Valley of Mexico
analyzing the relationship between the physical and cultural
environments influenced by architecture and the natural
landscape.
As an integral member of the Straughn Trout Architects’
Design Team, Mr. Hoeft’s responsibilities extend beyond
project design and coordination. He is heavily involved in
the early design stages of many projects and creates concept
and presentation renderings as well as three-dimensional
animations that help shape each project. As LEED AP, Tim
also leads the firm’s sustainability efforts and manages
archival photographic documentation of built projects. He
designs and maintains the firm’s web site, and oversees the
technical aspects of the firm’s Online Project Management
system. He has proven invaluable to the firm with his
knowledge and expertise in the graphic arts, and he prepares
all marketing information while maintaining the corporate
identity of the firm.
Tim is currently on the LSR Board of Directors and has
previously served as the Sgt. of Arms for two years.
