Martin was born in Dallas, Texas and raised in Cocoa
Beach, Florida. Higher Education: Birmingham Southern
College, Alabama.
He is married to his wife Donna and he has three great
children, Steven, James and Ashley, and two beautiful
grandchildren.
Martin has worked extensively in the fast food business and
has held a number of management positions for Wendy’s
restaurant franchises organizations. He is currently the
Vice President of Operations for Wen-Lake Corporation, which
owns a number of Wendy’s franchises in the Central Florida
area. Wen-Lake Corporation is owned by long-time Rotarian
and philanthropist George Banning.
Martin started out as a Rotarian in the Plant City breakfast
club and later transferred to Lakeland South Rotary. Martin
has served as Chairman of the Lakeland South Rotary Annual
Dinner & Auction for three years. The annual event is one of
the most popular Lakeland charity events & Martin has led
the effort in raising tens of thousands of dollars for
worthwhile Lakeland area causes. Martin was voted Lakeland
South Rotarian of the year in 2008.
