Hall Communications, Inc. operates radio stations WONN-AM
1230, WPCV-FM 97.5, WLKF-AM 1430, and WWRZ-FM 98.3 serving
Polk County and central Florida along with seventeen other
stations in the northeastern United States.
Art was born in Youngstown, Ohio. He earned his Bachelor of
Arts degree from Westminster College, and a Juris Doctor
degree from Case Western Reserve Law School. He was an
associate attorney and then a partner in the Cleveland firm
of Schneider, Smeltz, Ranney & LaFond. Art is admitted to
the practice of law in Ohio and Florida.
In 1983, Art moved to Lakeland and became
Vice-President/General Manager of WONN/WPCV Radio. He was
named President of Hall Communications, Inc. in 1991.
Art is past President of Lakeland South Rotary, Imperial
Symphony Orchestra, Lakeland YMCA, Polk Advertising
Federation, and Tampa Bay Broadcasters Association. He is a
member of the Board of Trustees of Florida Southern College
and the Radio Advertising Bureau. Art is a member of the
LRMC Foundation board and the Lakeland Sail and Power
Squadron.
Art and his wife, Bonnie, have three children: Erin R.
Casey, Benjamin, and Arthur Andrew. Art and Bonnie are Paul
Harris Fellows.
