Reverend Beverly Short is a Texas native. She received her
education at the University of North Texas, Pepperdine
University, Lutheran Southern Theological Seminary and the
Marine Corps Command and Staff College. She served
twenty-one years as a marine officer then switched to the
Lutheran ministry in 1995. She has served congregations in
Iowa as a pastor and as a developer of a new congregation.
She moved to Lakeland, Florida in 2007 to be pastor of Faith
Lutheran Church.
