Anne-Marie Wendel was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. She is a graduate of Santa Fe Catholic High School and earned her BS Degree in Business from Florida Southern College. Anne-Marie is currently working towards her Masters Degree in Public Administration at Troy University.

Anne-Marie is a retired Sergeant Major from the United States Army Reserves. She is a Lieutenant with the Lakeland Police Department. Anne-Marie was the President of Lakeland South Rotary Club for the year 2008 – 2009. She serves on several Boards in the Community.

Anne-Marie fosters Miniature Schnauzers and has three of her own (Albert, Allie-Gator, and Angie). She is a member of the Church of the Resurrection. She enjoys cooking, crafts, gardening, and watching the Florida Gators!
